Field Experience in Wisconsin Earth Science – Devil’s Lake State Park

Join us for an invigorating exploration of the natural history and beauty of Devil’s Lake State Park. This free hike is sponsored by the Wisconsin Earth Science Teachers Association (WESTA) and Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers (WSST). The tour will be led by park naturalist Sue Johannsen and will include a hike up the east bluff trail and optional Devil’s Doorway.

State park sticker or day pass will be required for each vehicle; enter the park at the north entrance and meet at the North Shore Visitor Center at 8:45 a.m. for the 9 a.m. departure. Participants must register with Dennis Rohr, Seymour High School, drohr@seymour.k12.wi.us, by Tuesday, October 9, 2018.
