Drop in to Cedarburg Public Library for a riot of STEM programming featuring robotics for kids! Assemble a variety of robotic pets and watch them go. Learn the basics of screen-free coding in minutes with “Botley”(TM), as your commands take him on an obstacle course you design.
Second through fifth graders will love the LEGO (R) Education WeDo 2.0 Core Set, built on Next Generation Science Standards, as well as littleBits kits coding.
Kathy Gifford, certified elementary teacher, will facilitate the family-style program. Each participant is encouraged to include an adult caregiver to maximize the experience. Some activities are suitable for individuals ages 5 and up, including hexbugs and courses.
