CamRock Beer Cellar Celebration and Luminary Hike
Join Dane County Parks to celebrate the completed restoration of the historic Beer Cellar at CamRock County Park. This open house style event will be located at the beer cave entrance. Stop by anytime during the event to enjoy some "stone soup" (a soup made from the collective contributions of a number of volunteers) and beverages, including beer from the Sunshine Brewing Company. Come to a free hike with a Dane County Staff member. This program's goal is to get our youngest explorers comfortable in and enjoying the outdoors. The path is flat, grassy terrain that may not be suitable for a stroller. Come have fun with other families and get in a short hike with your littles. Ages: 0-5 Cost: Free This is drop in event. No Registration Required

Calling all High Schoolers! Come join Youth Volunteers for Conservation (YV4C) and explore Dane County Parks while contributing to conservation. We host monthly workday events with occasional educational events. Workdays include: prairie seed collection, invasive brush removal, and invasive weed removal. Student volunteers have to opportunity to gain on-the-ground experience in land conservation, build leadership skills, and make new friends. No experience is needed. All tools and training provided.
