Reveal both art and science behind these optically spectacular portraits of three UW researchers. Funded in part by the Madison Arts Commission, along with the Wisconsin Arts Board, and special thanks to Arts + Literature Laboratory.
Did’ya know? Aedan Gardill, an artist and physics graduate student, creates portraits that rely on a special optical property of light, and are nearly invisible unless viewed with something called a polarizer.
