Walking the Great Wisconsin Glacier

Walking the Great Wisconsin Glacier

Thursday 10/17/24
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Celebrate the Wisconsin Science Festival with the library and the Ice Age Trail!

The Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a thousand-mile footpath highlighting the landscape features left behind by the Great Wisconsin Glacier as it traveled through some of the state’s most scenic wildlands. The trail is entirely within Wisconsin and is one of only eleven National Scenic Trails.

Presenter Vicki Christianson, Chapter Coordinator of the Chippewa Moraine Chapter of the Ice Age Trail will share information on the Trail’s glacial past along with ways for individuals and families to get involved.
