Farming for the Future: Using ecological farming to produce great tasting and healthy food to improve the environment and local communities – Emerald Acres Farm.

Join us for a presentation at the Door County Library on Monday, October 14th from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Jane Greene Room, followed by a tour of Emerald Acres Farm on Sunday, October 20th (pre-registration required).

Learn how Emerald Acres Farm uses ecological principles to grow produce and raise meat without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Discover our methods, including multi-cropping, natural habitat support, limited tilling, and integration of livestock. We blend traditional farming with modern science to promote healthy food, environment, and community.
