Ice Age Trail Full Moon over Lake Michigan at Point Beach

Ice Age Trail Full Moon over Lake Michigan at Point Beach

Saturday 10/19/24
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Hike:
Our full moon hike has an out and back total of 2.8 miles. The October full moon is often called Hunters Moon, and was sometimes called Freezing Moon by Native American tribes. Our hike is fairly flat and will parallel Molash Creek part of the way. We will traverse a couple of trail reroutes caused by water intrusion over the past three years. The view at the lake has been called breath taking.
