Milwaukee Astronomical Society Open House

Milwaukee Astronomical Society Open House

Friday 10/18/24
5:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Come observe at one of the largest amateur observatories in the country, in New Berlin, WI. The Milwaukee Astronomical Society is nearly 100-years-old, and will feature a talk on citizen science, astrophotography, and an open house of our observatory with chances to see objects in the night sky if it’s clear. Volunteers will attend to telescopes, offering views of the night sky, and you will get a chance to learn how you can become a member of the Milwaukee Astronomical Society and observe at our location every Saturday night!

Don’t want to wait until the 18th to explore what MAS has to offer? Stop by the Schlitz Audobon Nature Center on October 16th for an astrophotography gallery night! Details here: https://www.wisconsinsciencefest.org/event/southeastern-wisconsin-astrophotography-gallery-opening-night/
